What Private Blood Testing Costs

Two things make up your total: the price of each test, and one collection fee per appointment.

Test prices

Individual tests start at $105. Multi-marker panels range from about $299 to $699. Specialist genetic and neurological testing runs higher. Every price is listed in the catalogue.

The collection fee

• In-home visit, one person, Calgary — $85
• Each additional person at the same appointment — +$55
• Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks or Chestermere — +$50

The collection fee is charged once per appointment, not per test. If you order three tests, you pay for three tests and one visit. Adding a second person is $55 rather than a second $85 visit.

GST at 5% applies to the total.

A worked example

Two tests for one person in Calgary: Vitamin D2 & D3 at $105, Ferritin at $110, and one home visit at $85. That is $300 before GST. Booking them separately would cost a second $85.
